A traditional heritage home in Cape Town, Oranjezicht, needed a full interior refurb and furniture fit-out for it’s new owners.

The interior was transformed by opening up space to create seamless flow between in and out-doors. Large full height sliding doors and magnificent ceilings fill the house with natural light. A clean, contemporary kitchen with oversized central island is the hub of the living space. The style of the home was modernized by contemporary contrasts of fresh whites with dark charcoal accents, bold colour pops and striking patterned rugs. New custom-designed light fittings are more like pieces of art giving off light. The garden was gutted and re-designed with the help of a landscape artist.
