Built in the beautiful city of Warsaw, our today's apartment is an elegant piece of art that is dominated primarily by sleek IKEA furniture. The apartment is a compact single bedroom residence and also has an open plan living room, a feature that is getting increasingly common in most urban apartments across the world. Apart from the white walls and ceilings, wood is also used generously for the furniture as well as for the flooring, a combination which goes to add a distinct grace to the entire setting.
Let's move ahead and take a look at few of the visuals of the house, we are sure you will find some nice designing tips below. For your further reference, we have also mentioned the IKEA series of the furniture along with their relevant cost (applicable at the time of this article).
As we described earlier, the living room benefits greatly from the large windows that allow in ample of natural light in the space. For further efficiency, the architects have installed blue colored curtains that not only look good but also allow the users a better degree of control over the quality of light entering the space. Lastly, we also loved the HEMNES coffee table (RM 559) and the STRANDMON lounge chairs (RM 699) that completes the overall setting of the seating area.
The living room is mostly dominated by shades of white with occasional touches of blue. The combination of wood and white colored elements provides the entire space with a wonderful charm that is further accentuated by the diffused light that enters the space. The EKTORP sofa (RM 1495) acts as the central entity and along with the other seating units directly faces the television set supported on the short cabinet to allow its users the perfect living room experience.
The sleek credenza from the BESTA series (RM 695) allows space for mounting the televion as well as for other small electronics. The space is further provided with niches on the rear wall that not only look elegant but also provides space to keep certain essentials or small artifacts.
The bedroom is a provided with an artistic LEIRVIK bed (RM 349) which has wonderful metal patterns on both its ends. The space further benefits by the large window opening that allows in ample amounts of natural light to give its users a nice refreshing feel. Apart from this, we also loved the HEMNES dressing table (RM 999), the charming ceiling light fixture, and the full height curtains that further accentuate the overall appeal of the space.
The bathroom is provided with a neat counter sunk washbasin within the HEMNES wash stand (RM 845) and a nice circular mirror above it. The space is also provided with a comfortable bathtub lined with white colored tiles on its exterior as well as along the wall, a factor which gives an impression of a larger than actual area.
The INGATORP dining table (RM 1199) is conviniently positioned between the livng space and the kitchen in such a way that the users can watch the TV while dining. The entire setting consists of a sleek white colored table surrounded by four chairs and illuminated with an artistic STOCKHOLM ceiling lamp (RM 329) that is one of our favorites in the house.
The kitchen is provided with a nice L-shaped layout that offers the users ample amounts of cooking as well as storage space. The combination of the white colored SÄVEDAL cabinets (RM 105) with the wooden counter top looks particularly beautiful, however, the cherry on top of the cake is the pale blue colored retro fridge that adds a nice charm to the entire setting.
Apart from the main dining table, the architects have also provided the space with a small breakfast table that is very convinient to grab a quick bite in the morning. However, apart from using it for breakfast, the table can also be used as space where you can keep food items or other kitchen related stuff, thus increasing the overall usable space in the kitchen.
