Sometimes we look at a spectacular home and think to ourselves, if only we knew the tips and tricks of these designers, especially when it comes to smaller home design.
Well today, you'll be lucky enough to learn a thing or two from the architects at ARCHON+ PROJEKTY DOMÓW. Their project gives us all the elegance and style we'd find in a giant luxury home, but on a smaller scale and with a much smaller budget.
So if you like classy design and getting a great bang for your buck, you're sure to love this home!
The façade of this home isn't outwardly luxurious–in fact, you could say it's rather plain. Simple and pure white walls make up the base of the home, while light wooden elements gently accent it. Designed so that these residents could see out but others couldn't see in, this home provides optimal privacy without sacrificing the sights.
This is a family home designed for parents with children, and these big glass doors make it easy for the young ones to run in and out during play. They also extend the interior to meet the yard for a real open atmosphere.
This open floor plan layout looks amazing with the neutral and minimalist design scheme. We see the same colour scheme of the façade inside–sparkling white mixed with wood and black. And we love all the quirky features of the area, like the hanging lights and interesting breakfast bar.
Behind the breakfast bar, we have an entire dining area. The intertwined hanging lights above the dining table reflects those in the kitchen and creates a uniform look for neighbourin areas with the same function.
In the living room, we see a stunning display of stone used for the impressive fireplace. The style here is contemporary rustic, and dare we say it's the perfect fit for a home in such a gorgeous landscape. Contrasting tones and natural elements make this space inviting and dramatic.
This thin window next to the sink is every homeowners answer to the never-ending problem of limited natural light in the bathroom. Reaching from the floor to the ceiling and complete with a blind, this window gives the small bathroom all the light it needs and the privacy fitting of the space.
Calming natural elements are found in this room as well, and the glass enclosure for the shower helps to keep the tiny nature of the room seem more open.
This room on the first floor of the home gives these residents a place to sleep, play, and study. The desk with multiple storage units keeps the design of the room simple for practical study purposes, while the mix of colours helps motivate creativity during play.
This master bedroom is one of the most stately bedrooms we've ever seen! As if it were in a five-star hotel suite, this bedroom provides every lavish luxury one could imagine–incredibly soft and plush pillows and blankets atop an even cosier matress, calming decor, and dim mood lights to match.
We're ending the tour with the blueprints of the home where we can really appreciate the structure of the project. Here is the ground floor, which houses the terrace that spreads about 60 square metres. The dining room and kitchen space grant access to the terrace. We can see the free flow of space between living, dining, and kitchen areas, which take up a total of about 40 square metres, but also see that the comfort of the garage is not far off.
The plan of the first floor is where we find the three bedrooms, which are 13, 14, and 17 square metres in size, and the slope of the roof dictates this. This floor is compact and advantageous of each square centimetre of space.
