The beautiful apartment we’ll be touring today is no exception; as the architects have succeeded in creating a sublime home with all the hallmarks of classic Scandinavian style, as well as a few interesting and original features that make this modern home absolutely marvellous. Let’s take a look…
This beautiful master bedroom is quintessentially Scandinavian with its hardwood floors, bright white walls and fairly minimalist design. However, the accents around the room that introduce a little black into the décor create a dynamic, high contrast effect that really gives the room flair.
The study is simply stunning! Again we see Scandinavian design with white colours and wood dominating the décor, as well as Scandinavian style seating; once again the inclusion of just the right amount of black into the room’s composition breaks up the light colour scheme and really makes the space stand out.
The desk has been perfectly placed as the window ensures plenty of natural light fills the space; creating a comfortable place to work.
Sizable glass patio doors ensure that this comfortable living room space is flooded with natural light, which is reflected from the light wooden tones and white walls to create a beautifully bright living room.
The darker blue colours of the drapes and settee provide some balance to the rest of the bright décor and inject the space with a little colour.
Continuing through the open-plan space we come to the dining area that beautifully blends with the rest of the room’s décor, while simultaneously standing out thanks to its brightly coloured chairs and eye-catching overhead lighting.
Looking beyond the dining table to the back of the room we can see a super cool spiral staircase that contributes wonderfully to the home’s unique charm.
The bathroom is perhaps the jewel in this delightful dwelling’s crown. There’s an undeniable elegance to the room’s awe-inspiring composition of intricate black and white floor tiles, white subway tiles on the walls and key black accents that blend the floor with the rest of the room.
The freestanding tub and circular sinks exude cool, modern style, while the black and white contrast unite the room with the predominate pallet in the home.
On balance this astonishing apartment embodies a style superbly, while retaining a unique character that sets it apart from other homes; truly inspiring interior design.
